Where do you get your characters?

Everywhere! There is no one character who is exactly like anyone in the book. They are more so an amalgam. Anyone and everyone is fair game…from family, to friends, to store clerks. This even includes myself.

When did you realize you wanted to write?

I have always wanted to write. I have actually been writing for about 35 years. Deciding to publish something I wrote was more my immediate families idea than my own.

Why self-publish?

Writing has always been a passion, not so much a profession or vocation. My spouse and children decided I needed to try it “just once” so we put our heads together and decided to put it out there and see what came back. It has been quite the learning experience!

Will there be a sequel?

Of all the questions asked, this is by far the MOST requested. Provided I can get enough copies of this one sold, I would love to publish a sequel. It is already in manuscript form waiting to be released.
